Havana Rakatan
This Summer, one of Sadler’s Wells’ most successful productions, Havana Rakatan, enjoyed its 5th season at the Peacock Theatre. With over a month’s lead into opening night, Impact began distributing 30,000 A5 leaflets through a number of channels, in order to attract as broad an audience as possible:

… a bespoke run comprising Latin American bars, restaurants and dance venues; a Suburban North run capturing residents and commuters in Outer London; saturation coverage in the West End throughout September; and our London Life network run, designed to reach a wide range of ages and ethnic groups through libraries, community centres, colleges and visitor attractions.
As well as leaflets, Sadler’s Wells also produced some promotional print in the shape of a hand fan. Our charismatic Promotions Team was called upon to distribute these fans at the Notting Hill Carnival.
Unsurprisingly, this event proved to be the perfect fit for Havana Rakatan, and with the glorious Summer weather, the fans were welcomed by all! A further 2 handout shifts were scheduled on the weekend before opening night (Thames Festival and Last Night of the Proms). Once again, we experienced excellent engagement levels from a wide variety of audience demographics.
