To promote the English National Ballet’s production of Le Corsaire to the weekend shopping crowds of Milton Keynes and Southampton. Our challenge was to engage a local audience that does not regularly attend the ballet.
Using a large standee board featuring a character from Le Corsaire as a focal point, our promotions staff engaged shoppers with print and explained the show to them. Over six hours our three person team encouraged children and adults to pose for pictures in the standee board and to share them on social media. The promotion was carried out on consecutive weekends in Milton Keynes and Southampton.
