London Fashion Weekend 2012
Representing London’s premium designer shopping event, the Impact Promotional Team set out to create a buzz around the city, heightening awareness of London Fashion Weekend 2012 and encouraging ticket sales.

Impact Promotional staff at London Fashion weekend
A glamorous team of Impact Promo Girls carried out a London-wide leaflet distribution campaign in the run-up to the 1st London Fashion Weekend of 2012, which took place at Somerset House 23-26 February.
London Fashion Weekend offers consumers the chance to buy labels by British and International fashion designers at reduced prices. Organised by Single Market Events, the event is a nirvana for the fashion-conscious, being the largest of its class in the UK.
Targeting the highest footfall of fashionistas in London, Impact’s Promotional Staff handed out leaflets near high profile department stores on Oxford Street, Regent’s Street, Carnaby Street, Sloane Square, Kings Road, Bond Street and outside shopping destinations such as One New Change. Consumers were invited to avail of a 10% online discount on tickets to London Fashion Weekend through the promotional code ‘street’ which was advertised on the leaflets distributed. The discount could be accessed instantly via the QR code printed on the leaflets.
The leaflet campaign was supported by Impact’s dedicated Poster Team, who put up 300 eye-catching pink A2 posters in affluent areas across Central London, the City, Kensington, Chelsea, Nottinghill, Bayswater, Kingston-Upon-Thames, Twickenham and Richmond.
An Impact Word of Mouth campaign was also undertaken by our teams. They visited boutiques, cafes, beauty salons, hairdressers, hotels, offices and fashion retailers, acting as ambassadors for London Fashion Weekend and spreading the word to staff and clientele in these establishments.
Impact’s Promotional Staff had a presence at the prestigious London Fashion Week trade event (also at Somerset House) which took place the week preceding London Fashion Weekend. Our Promo Girls mingled with fashion industry professionals, journalists and celebrities, encouraging them to check out the designer bargains which would be found at the London Fashion Weekend consumer event.
The official London Fashion Weekend pop-up shop in Covent Garden Piazza, in the shape of a giant shopping bag (!), was also supported by Impact’s Promotional Staff. Tickets and show bags for London Fashion Weekend were sold at the highly visible pop-up shop to Londoners and tourists alike.
We can proudly say that our team created a positive dynamic around the London Fashion weekend event, the success of which was measured by the substantial amount of ticket sales through the promo code ‘street’.
Once again, Impact’s policy of matching the skills of our staff to the requirements of each campaign proved a winner. Promo staff with a passion for fashion were chosen to represent London Fashion Weekend 2012. Their enthusiastic energy transferred to consumers out in the field, resulting in increased ticket sales for the event!
