The wait is almost over. In less than 6 months, London will play host to the cream of sporting talent for the 2012 Summer Olympics. If you are looking for opportunities to advertise your event, show or other cultural offering during the Games, look no further!
Advertising opportunity: Olympic Live site in Victoria Park
Many of our customers have already told us about their Olympic preparations, not just during competition time but throughout the entire Cultural Olympiad. Opinions vary as to whether the Games will see a surge of fresh arts audiences, keen to take in a show during their visit – or, conversely, whether the strain on resources and public transport will cause a “bloodbath of a Summer”, forcing people to stay at home.
Whatever camp you belong to, there can be no doubt that the eyes of the world are very much upon us right now, and come 27 July London will be a hive of activity. Impact is preparing for this historic occasion by offering customers two Olympic-specific advertising services:
Olympic East Network
We’ve created a new run which covers all five of the host boroughs (Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest). We’ve developed excellent relationships with over 70 venue owners, allowing us to permanently install our display racks in the most prominent positions.
This is an excellent opportunity to capture a high footfall of residents, professionals and visitors as the games draw closer.
Venues include: Lea Valley Ice Rink, LondonCityAirport, Rio Cinema, Theatre Royal Stratford East and Greenwich Dance Agency.

2012 Games InfoBags
A new addition to our hugely popular InfoBag promotion. We will be present at four London Live sites, where the games are being broadcast for FREE on giant state-of-the-art screens. Attendance will surely be massive!
3,000 InfoBags will be distributed in total and each InfoBag will contain literature from a variety of organisations in the arts, cultural and tourism sectors. A separate InfoBag has also been created for the Paralympics (29 Aug – 9 Sept).
As part of this service, all customers receive a detailed feedback report, including high-res photos, audience demographics and FAQ’s.
